Homecoming!

Saturday was my first ever homecoming, and I had a blast! Here are some pictures :)

I went with my friend Chloe.. she's so much fun :)

We got sushi before the dance and ended up being an hour late, which was actually ok because the dance was in full swing by the time we got there. It never hurts to be a little fashionably late :P
But yeah! I had an awesome time at the dance.. really my whole weekend was amazing. Week-days are so busy and fast paced, it's nice to just relax and hang out with friends all weekend.

Heehee. Anyway, I've been really busy with highschool, but I know nobody out there really cares about what's going on in my life.. haha! I will just say that a) I'm looooving highschool. It's amazing! I've been hanging out with my friends alot latley, which is really great. annd b) My school's homecoming game and dance are this weekend! Yay! I'm not going to the game because my friends and I are gonna be nerds and go to a planetarium instead :P
but I'm most definetly going to the dance! I can't wait! well, I've got to go now.. hopefully I'll be back soon :)

A Little Round-Up of Pictures From This Labor Day Weekend♥

Ok guys! Soo this post is shorter than most of my others.. but that's ok :)
These are just a few pictures I took today on Labor Day. It was rainy, so I couldn't be out playing in the pool. So I went to go see a movie with my mom then I came home and took these pictures. Soo yeah. :P

I've noticed my style has been changing a lot. Here's my fashion timeline for the past few years:

sixth grade- It was all about colored skinny jeans and graphic tees. I haunted Hot Topic and was obsessed with being "different"

Seventh grade- I ditched the jeans for high waisted skirts and the red high tops for brogues. I was still into being kinda purposely weird, but it was in a more tasteful and fashionable style. I liked peter pan collared shirts, big bows, etc.

late 8th grade- My style became much more relaxed. I was obsessed with finding the perfectly slouchy white tee shirt, the best comfy sweatshirt, and a great fitting pair of jeans. I think it became more body conscious, ya know? I relized style wasn't just being as weird as possible. Now, in 9th grade, My style is kinda dressy. I wear heels alot, and spend more time on my hair and makeup. It's somewhat trendy, but I put my own spin on things. I'm obsessed with sparkly and dreamy things, but I also love minimalistic things like blazers. I really like looking back on my past fashion obsessions. It's kinda cool to see how much I've changed.

This time last year, i must say, was one of the happiest times of my life. I'm not sure why. Maybe because I was finally doing good in school. Maybe it was the weather. I don't know. But I'm starting to realize how great this part of my life is too. High school is awesome. I love my classes, I love my new friends (and all the old ones who didnt drop me), I love my wardrobe, I love my life! And it's definetly reflecting on my blog. I'm really happy with my recent posts.. And I hope you guys are too :)

Hey guys! So, It's been about a week now since I last posted, and since then, I've discovered just how crazy highscool is. Like, I had no idea I was going to have to work this hard! I'm in an A.P. class, and most of the rest of my classes are honors. Not to mention I'm trying out for the school play tommorrow, which will just add to the craziness! But anyway, just cause I'm busy, doesn't mean I don't have time for pictures. If you've been reading my blog for awhile now, or if you know me personally, you know I take pictures of everything, practically. So, first I'll show ya some pictures of a pair of new shoes I got.

Sooo yeah. I'm hoping to keep up this little weekly post flow. I know once a week isn't ideal, but it's better than what I've done in the past {which would be more like monthly posts.. yeah I know, yikes}. Haha, anyway, I'll blog again soon! Byee♥

I'm a Highschooler!

Hey Guys! So on Wednesday, I started highschool. Can you believe that? Middle school seemed like forever. Anyway, my first day wasn't that great. I don't feel like explaining all the reasons why it was a bad day, you're just gonna have to trust me that it was. But then my second day was alot better. And then my third day was AMAZING♥
I think it really had to do with my perspective. I just woke up the morning after the first day of school and thought, "You know, yesterday wasn't that bad". And things were just fine after I cut the whole "Highschool is gonna suck" act.

So, yeah. Yesterday, after a good day at school, i went to go see Fright Night with two of my friends. It was so super duper good! Like, get your butt off the computer and go see it.. RIGHT NOW!

So the picture above is what I wore on the last day of summer! It wasn't a very eventful day.. I stayed home most of the day until evening when my sister and I went to get mani pedis. It was a great summer, all in all. I did alot of things, went alot of places, and still had time to just be lazy. But I'm so glad to be back in school.

And this is what I wore on the first day of highschool. And I know, that's kinda a wierd pose.

I spent forever trying to figure out what would be the perfect oufit for the first day. I finally settled on this. The sweater and purse are Gap, the pants are Gap Kids, and my top, which I got at Urban Outfitters, is Silence and Noise. But yeah. My glitter obsession is properly displayed in this outfit.

Sooo.. yeah :) I forgot to take pictures of my other outfits the other two days, but I'm going to try to take at least one picture a week of my outfits. Because I don't know how much a bunch of highschoolers really apreciate fashion..
